William Gerstein, a partner in the law firm, is a member of the Florida and Georgia state bars. He has also been admitted to the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Gerstein is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, certified as an expert in immigration and nationality law by the Florida Bar, and has been practicing US immigration law since 1995. Mr. Gerstein earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with minors in Spanish and Italian from Tulane University in 1992 and then went on to complete his law degree at St. Thomas University in 1995. Mr. Gerstein speaks Spanish and Italian and has served hundreds of clients in his years of dedicated immigration practice.

Dori Gerstein, Esq.

Dori Gerstein, an associate in the law firm, is a member of the Florida state bar and has been practicing law in Florida since 1996. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida State University in 1992 and then went on to complete her law degree at St. Thomas University in 1995. Ms. Gerstein handles family law and civil litigation matters for the firm.

Patricia Cooper, Esq.

Patricia Cooper, an associate in the law firm, is a former attorney advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice at the Miami Immigration Court. Ms. Cooper advised the immigration judges on legal issues in deportation cases and drafted written decisions on applications for relief from deportation. Ms. Cooper graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia in 2005, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and History. Ms. Cooper completed her law degree at the University of Virginia School of Law in 2010. During law school, she served as vice-president of the Latin American Law Organization, participated in an outreach project to inform migrant farmworkers of their rights, and spent one summer assisting Colombian asylum seekers at a non-profit organization in Quito, Ecuador. Ms. Cooper is a member of the District of Columbia bar and is fluent in Spanish.

Tatiana Navarro

Tatiana Navarro, an associate in the law firm, is a member of the Florida state bar and has been practicing law in Florida since 2014. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2009 and then went on to complete her law degree at Florida International University in 2012. Ms. Navarro is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and is fluent in Spanish.
